    This being a highly gendered girl’s cartoon made for the mass market, they’re all officially implicitly-straight young women. That said, all manner of queer and gender-variant communities have adopted Rainbow Dash (up top) as their own, and the creator (as opposed to her corporate overlords) seems to be on board.

11. I love this show. It’s hilarious that I spend all day on ponychan, then google for some info on transgender (as I am questioning my gender identity) and find a post about ponies. They truly have taken over the entire internet.
